Beta terms — under final legal review. These terms describe how the beta works today. A few specifics — our legal entity name, the arbitration administrator and venue, and the arbitration opt-out address — are being finalized with counsel before general availability.

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026. By clicking “I Agree” or by using Knock (the “Service”), you agree to these terms as of that date. This is a pre-release beta. Your Privacy Policy acceptance is incorporated into these terms.

Eligibility (18+)

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Knock’s beta is for adults only.

What Knock does

Knock helps you prepare job applications by tailoring your resume and writing cover letters grounded in the information you provide, and offers tools like scoring, matching, interview coaching, and job import. Knock prepares applications for your review — you review, edit, and submit every application yourself. Knock does not submit applications on your behalf without your action.

AI output is your responsibility to review

AI-generated drafts can contain errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and correcting all AI output before you use or submit it. Knock is built to present your real, truthful information more effectively — it is not a substitute for your own judgment.

Your responsibilities

  • You confirm the information in your fact sheet is accurate and that you have the right to use any resume or material you upload.
  • You are responsible for the content of any application you choose to submit.
  • You won’t use Knock to misrepresent your qualifications, to violate the terms of any job board or employer, or for any unlawful purpose.

Beta service

The beta is provided free of charge. It is a pre-release, in-development version: we may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time, and we’re under no obligation to release a commercial version. If and when paid plans are introduced, the applicable billing terms will be presented before any charge.

Disclaimers

Knock does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under New York law.

Governing law & disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to binding individual arbitration and a class-action waiver, with a 30-day right to opt out of arbitration after first accepting these terms. The administrator, venue, and opt-out address are being finalized with counsel and will appear in the final terms before general availability.
